OUTFIT - blossom

Mango sweater (sale) | H&M jeans | H&M hat | Six bracelet | Manas boots | Kiko nail polish

You might have noticed in magazines that traditional Japanese clothing has been a source of inspiration to a lot of designers and therefore it is a big trend this upcoming summer season. Japanese prints are everywhere, just as satin dresses and kimonos. Just take a look at Prada's extraordinary summer collection and you will see what I mean :) I have always loved Japanese prints, especially blossom prints like this one. I bought this top in sale at Mango for only €15! Such a great deal! I also bought a top in sale at Zara for €15, reduced from €60! Gosh, I love sale! Love Aimee

OUTFIT - sporty stripes

Zara sweater (new) | SecondFemale leather shorts | ViaVai boots | Six ring | DIY hair bow

I love dresses and I wear a dress almost every single day. It's my all-time favorite clothing item. However, sometimes, especially on cold winter days like these, I tend to go for more comfortable looks. To me, there is no clothing item cosier than an oversized sweater. This one is from Zara's new collection and when I wear it, I feel like I am wearing my pyjama's! I love it! I matched  it with my leather shorts to give the look a bit of an edge and added my DIY white leather hair bow as a girly touch. My plans for this weekend are (sadly): learning, learning and guess what... learning! But, in less than four weeks I'll be on the plane heading for New York City! I really can't wait! If you have any tips, please let me know! Love Aimee

DIY - hair bows

It's official: I am obsessed with making hair bows! After seeing this DIY video from Youtube on making bows, I went to my local fabric store and bought a whole lot of different fabrics. Besides small pieces of fabric you will need a pair of scissors, hot glue and hair clips. The bows are incredibly easy to make and so cute! An outfit post with the white leather bow is coming up! Hugs and kisses, Aimee

OUTFIT - the trenchcoat

Mango trenchcoat (now is sales) | Manas boots (new)

Meet my new trenchcoat from Mango! I wanted one for so long, but I am very picky and therefore I could never find a reasonably priced trenchcoat which I wanted really badly. Then, last week, I saw this one in sales, reduced in price from 90 to 50 euros! Amazing deal! I love the fact that this coat has special detailing like the leather pockets, the quilted shoulders and the fur collar (which is in fact detachable: it gives me the possibility to wear the coat without a collar in spring when the weather will (hopefully) warm up!). Yes, this coat is most certainly my new favorite clothing item :) Have a great weekend everybody! Lots of love Aimee

TRAVEL DIARY - la plagne

I am back lovelies and I can ski! I mean, my moves definitely need some improving, but I know the basics! It has been an amazing week with an overload of sunshine and satisfactory days. My father and I spent a lot of time together hitting the slopes in the French ski area La Plagne (hence the title). He taught me how to ski parallel and he turns out to be a great ski instructor! Here are some shots of the beautiful white mountains, delicious hot choco, my sweet brother making a heart with a sparkler, the typically Dutch New Years Eve oliebollen and my very fashionable ski boots. xxx Aimee
